Dr. Chelsie Steele

Dr. Chelsie Steele

Hello! My name is Dr. Chelsie Steele. As a Knoxville native, I earned a bachelor of science degree from Tennessee Technological University and a doctorate of veterinary medicine from Lincoln Memorial University.

In my free time, I enjoy running, reading, and most importantly, spending time with my family including my beagle and cat.

I first decided to become a veterinarian because I felt called into the profession.

As a teenager, my family dog was like my child, and I found a passion for helping others with fur children. I began volunteering as a 16 year old and worked my way up, keeping my hardworking parents as role models.

I have a deep rooted passion for pet wellness, science, preserving the human animal bond, and improving the quality of life of my patients.

When I enter an exam room, my mission is to meet the needs of my patients and build a client relationship centered around trust and a mutual agreement on a plan of action for health care.

As a veterinarian, I am honored to make a difference.

{Have been a customer at My Pets for about 13 years (2 different boxers) and have always been treated extremely well, as were the pooches! Have gone through many ailments with them as well as a number of vets and assistants. Always a friendly atmosphere and the dogs love it there (that's saying something!).

{I’ve been taking my dogs to My Pet’s Animal Hospital (Northshore location) for 9 years now. I’ve always been pleased with the friendliness of the staff, the cleanliness, and the accessibility. Always eager to help and earnest to make your fur babies feel better.

{They took wonderful care of my girl! I have a 4 year old husky who needed a dental cleaning and tooth extraction… I was so stressed about her going under anesthesia, but they took every precaution and made me feel as at ease as I could. Thank you so much! Highly recommend this place.

{My cat Oliver had to have some teeth extracted, due to dental disease. They treated him very well! I could tell when I picked him up, he was calm and not scared at all. He is now acting like a large kitten around the house after a couple days, can tell he feels 1000% better! The price was also very reasonable, not nearly as high as it could have been. Great staff and even more important provided great care. Thank you!

{We have been taking our dogs to My Pet's for years and have always had exceptional interaction with the doctors and the staff. They take their time, very friendly. One of the doctors even drove to my house on a Saturday to check on one of the dogs. They also do follow-up calls after each visit. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a great place to take your furry friends.

{This is an awesome vet practice, my Goldie has been twice and both times I was able to get an appointment the same day. The front staff and Dr. Brittany were amazing, caring and listened to my concerns, they clearly explained our options and the costs to treat my dog. We got a wellness check call as well which is totally appreciated it and shows that they truly care about their clients.

{The staff was very friendly, informative, and accommodating. They made it very easy to get care for my cat without having to worry about contact, distancing, etc. This was my first experience with My Pet’s. I will definitely return.

{They've been excellent up front and honest with us through out our cat's procedure. The staff is extremely kind and helpful. i informed them of my financial limits and did everything they could to give our boy the best care while staying within my budget. They also provided me with all the extra resources i could have needed outside of their help. It was by far the best animal hospital experience I've had.

{Love the Northshore office. The staff are so nice to both me and my fur babies. Very supportive and caring when I had to put my dog of 15 years to sleep. I received a card from them stating My Pets made a donation to Young Williams animal center in my deceased dogs name. Love them.
